DIY studded boots

inspired by these awesome boots i found on tumblr, i thought it would be time for another DIY! i stumbled across a pair of those gorgeous bordeaux red velvet boots at H&M, apparently the last pair in the whole store AND it happend to be my size AND they were on sale for 5€!! (instead of 30€!) i couldn't possibly pass, so i purchased them along with two scarfes, wich were on sale, too for 1€ each (insted of 7€ each!) - i think this was the craziest sale find ever, i payed 7€ instead of 42€! well at home i decided to stud them, wich turned out to be a little difficult because the fabric is very thick, so i recommend securing the studs with some hot glue or super glue, so you won't lose them.. under here you'll see how they turned out and my whole purchase.

hello, shoes of my dreams..

well, i fell in love - again. another pair of platform shoes, but what should i do, i'm just too small! when i saw those super cool vans sk8 high platform sneakers i knew i had to have them and seriously, i would've bought them instantly (their available at urban outfitters or asos..) but as it is always the case, they're too expensive.. so i could just do one thing: save a lot of money OR wait until they're on sale.

interior inspiration

since i'm moving out from home in less than a month i've collected a lot of ideas on the web for my new appartement in munich, concerning interior and decoration. i've been living in a very brown room for nearly my whole life now, with a wooden wall, wooden ceiling, wooden floor and wooden interior - now i'm pretty sick of that, so my new room's going to be mostly WHITE...
BOOK STORAGE
IKEA's EXPEDIT shelf is one of my favorites for book storage, what's even more awesome: it doesn't have a back, so you can easily use it for dividing a room! i love book shelves, i'm already planning to sort my books after colours - i'm gonna have a NYAN-shelf :3
CLOTHES
i'm really in love with clothes rails, especially the wooden one in the middle looks super awesome! sadly my room's too small for such a rail, i'd have to go with a boring and normal cupboard..
WORK SPACE
i'm going to study interior design, so there'll be a lot of drawing, this means i need a giant desk.. i'm also planning to do a big 'inspiration wall', some kind of  pinboard where i put all my ideas, inspiration and more if i'm working on a project next to my desk, and one of those picture and frame walls above my couch or something.. i really love those butterfly frames, sadly they're very expensive to get..

and: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 400 FOLLOWERS! i still can't belive so many people are interested in the stuff i do.. lot's of LOVE! ♥ ♥ ♥

the pocket shirt

recently i really fell in love with contrast pocket shirts, there are a lot of online stores selling them but actually it's one of the easiest things to do them by yourself, you just need an old shirt and some leftover fabric and that's it.. basically you don't need to spend any money at all - pretty nice. the problem is: i really can't decide, what i'm gonna do.. leather + spikes, leopard or tiger print, tie dye, floral or aztec print, velvet, denim, tropical or brain print.. some nice stores - just if you're to lazy to DIY - BREAKFAST CLUB ; TANTUM ; DRAMAMINE L.A. ; PATCHWORK APPAREL

awesome webstores - shirts

DIY denim bag

here's another bag i sewed out of the excess fabric of my cut off denim legs, inspired by the upcycled bags of thevintageshop i read about in the german CUT magazine (check it out, it's awesome!) i used about 4-5 denim legs and on the inside i used an old scarf to cover the seams a little bit, basically the bag is just a big cuboid, made out of square parts! you see there are a lot of possibilities what to do with your excess denim legs, so don't simply throw them away - actually you should never throw away any excess fabric!

tie dye shirts

tie dye's been around the web for quite a while, especially on tumblr and i have to admit that i really fell in love with it! customised vintage nike or nirvana band shirts or those cuties from THFKDLF, RUTTEN, ABLE  or SUNKEN are my favourites! guess what my next DIY will be..? TIE DYE! - i'm planning to do a shirt (like No.2) and to customize one of my denim-leg-bags (coming up), so stay tuned!
PS: i'm sorry for the lack of posts, the internship in the joiner's workshop is really exhausting an time-consuming, but there's only 3 1/2 weeks to go! (and a lot of DIY projects on my list..)

studded collars

the upcoming DIY-project - modifying an old and very uncomfortable blouse into a pretty studded collar, attachable to all kinds of clothes, especially sweaters, in my closet - hopefully i'm gettin' to do it this week!

the eternal struggle.

gettin' stuff from brain to paper really is THE eternal struggle, i had that pretty much for the last two weeks.. as long as i have reached the point where i actually know what to draw everything's fine and i could just draw hours and hours.. but well, to reach that point it takes a long long time.. anyway, i'm just drawing crystal things mostly, that's what i basically love to do all the time and so i try to kinda work that whole crystal or geometric theme into the drawings i want to hand in for university.. crystal moss on trees, the geometry of crystals itself, or the geometry of wasted-paper-balls, origami instructions.. crystals - paper - nature, these are the things i try to incorporate into interior or product design somehow.. next thing to draw: jellyfish. they're awkwardly scary but stunningly beautiful at the same time - i'm trying watercolour this time. -maybe.
best thing of the day: i won another vintage levi's denim jacket on ebay for just 1€ (+6,50€ shipping) - what a bargain! can't wait for it to arrive :D wich means DIY-time
- i wouldn't just leave it as plain as it is now of course.remembered something else: what do you think of a watermelon-design for my holga? i'm currently thinking about how i could paint her.. galaxy is one of my favourites, too - but that's pretty much impossible to do..

R.I.P beloved hair.

so i just came from the hairdresser and they had to cut off all my damaged tips - wich had been about 10-15cm. my hair's so short now, i could actually cry right now. - and no, i won't show any pictures, i probably won't for the next year or something until they've grown long again. -or until i got after my current grief.
to make it even worse i had to search for pictures showing what i wanted my hair to be, wich will take about two years to achieve - now i really cry.

if i had infinite money..

current obsessions: JOY DIVISION shirt, carhartt watch hat, backpacks, statement cotton bags, crystal jewellery, vintage high waisted denim shorts - studded, frayed, roll-up... spiked shoes, spiked sweaters, awesome print sweaters, asymmetric skirs, blouses, black sheer, ear cuffs, skeleton jewellery, statement shirts, print shirts, denim jackets, vans authentic sneakers, statement beanies, studded collars, mint and cotton candy pink.
PS: if you wonder where the last post went - lost in cyberspace. seems like i'm too stupid for using technical devices, such as my notebook, properly. anyways, there is still the amazing little competition, as soon as i reach 200 readers, with an awesome prize - as an excuse for my current (and future) lack of posts because of the final exams waiting for me in about 5 weeks..

studded converse inspiration

since i'd seen those absolutely wonderful studded converse at lazy bones really wanted to have a pair myself - screams for a DIY! i own three pairs of converse, one of them i used to call halloween-shoes because they're orange and came with black laces.. well, i don't  like orange anymore, so i decided i'll bleach them, just like the ones above, after that i'll see how the colours are and if they're not satisfying, i'll try to paint or dye them or bleach them again or whatever and then finally stud them. well, that point souds easy but it isn't. i can't decide if i should use pyramid studs or round studs, gold or silver ones and if i should do a even pattern or just spread the studs randomly - i like every possibility, in the end i think it'll depend on the colour..
i've been searching for some inspiration and at least i know that small studs look way better than big ones, luckily i ordered some 7mm pyramid-studs via ebay last week. i also found an other pair of studded converse there, you can also find them at the bloodycat webstore and i love that store anyway, they've got some awesome things there ♥ -just the korean signs are a bit confusing..

the beauty inside. -her ear.

sometimes i can't believe how many beautiful and awesome things you can find in the world through the internet.. today i discovered an absolutely awesome online store called BMA modified , and next to a bunch of super cute sweaters and shirts they've got the most spectacular and remarkable plugs i've ever seen.. they are so beautiful! sadly they only sell them in pairs and i can nowhere find how much shipping is, but really, i LOVE THAT STORE. ♥ - check it out.

creepy skeletons.

i've been in love with skeleton, bone or rib cage prints on sweaters, shirts or tights for a very long time so i really wanted to have something similar to the absolutely perfect - but too expensive - wildfox sweater.. and now i finally found one on ebay and ordered it right away, it's soo gorgeous and i can't wait to recieve the package.. ♥ i also discovered some very cheap creepers from china, and since the original undergroud creepers are about 100€ and those would be around 30€ + 7€ shipping they are an absolutely affordable alternative and i think they just look exactly like the originals.. so i'm really thinking of ordering them but well, creepers are pretty cool but also pretty strange.. BUT they're special and nobody around here would have the same ones.. so what do you think? get it or not? //edit: i couldn't resist, i just bought them :D

i just discovered the most awesome rings ever - i think i'm gonna die. you'll find them on regalrose, such a wonderful online store for exraordinary accessories, lot's of feathers and crystals, well - i love it!

darkness.

it's a weird day. normal people feel awesome when they get extraordinary school certificates, but i got depressed. i could study nearly everything with my grades, but i don't want to, i want to study industrial design or interior design and for this you don't need the grades, you need the talent and you need to pass the qualifying examinations. so when i held that paper in my hands today i started having doubts about my future plans - why should i waste the grades and with them all the effort it took to get them (well, not that much actually..) ? i could study mathematics or physics, i'd been better there than in arts this year, but i know i do have an extreme passion and ambition in arts - why should i waste that? so well, i'm in a kind of struggle now, i can't decide , the only real alternative for me would be becoming astronaut, BUT: there are only 15 in europe, two or three of them german - the chance gettin in there is pretty low, huh? and i don't want to study air and space technology anyway.. and my mother doesn't make it better, she always tries to keep me from studying something design related, she doesn't believe i'm strong enough or talented enough or whatever.. but you know what - now i'm really convinced doing the design thing, i want to prove it to her, to myself and this course in munich is just PERFECT. i can even learn japanese, do an exchange year and three months of work expirience in a foreign company - sounds too awesome. I NEED IT.
PS: if you wonder, i was in a quite dark mood, so i simply had to delete some of the old posts i found too stupid for still being here.
